Ancient therapies refined over generations for body, mind, and spirit.

What is Acupuncture good for?

Acupuncture therapy is used across the world for ailments as broad ranging as stress, anxiety, and insomnia to sports medicine & chronic pain conditions to palliative care while undergoing cancer treatment.

More and more research is published all the time about the effectiveness of acupuncture treatments for relief from pain, arthritis, sinusitis and allergic rhinitis, menopause, substance use recovery, digestive issues, chronic fatigue, the side effects of chemotherapy, depression and anxiety, and much more.

What's in an Acupuncture treatment?

An Acupuncture treatment includes a thoughtful diagnostic  conversation followed by any combination of gentle, hands-on therapies appropriate for your diagnosis & plan of care, such as:

Pathways of Care

Health isn't one-size-fits-all. Everyone arrives with a different story, a different body, and different goals for treatment. In my practice, I support several pathways of care so you can receive the level of support that truly fits your needs.

Intensive Care

for Chronic & Complex Concerns

This path is designed for people who are navigating longer-term or multi-layered health concerns such as:

  • Fertility challenges

  • PCOS

  • Chronic pain

  • Digestive disorders

  • Skin conditions

  • Migraines

Together, we take time to understand your whole picture and create a holistic plan to meaningfully shift your condition over a series of treatments. This treatment pathway often includes a comprehensive intake and health history,  a personalized treatment plan, acupuncture, moxibustion, bodywork techniques like gua sha & cupping, herbal medicine prescriptions, nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle support.

If you’re ready for deep support and steady transformation, this path gives us the room to do that work.

Restorative Care

for Acute & Maintenance Needs

Not everyone needs the whole deep-dive — sometimes you just strained your neck, aren't sleeping well, or want acupuncture as part of your regular nervous system reset routine.

This path is a good fit if you're looking for:

  • Relief from a recent injury or illness

  • Athletic recovery

  • Relaxation and stress reduction

  • Periodic maintenance care

Restorative treatments are designed to help you move into a relaxed, meditative state and rest with the needles in so that the magic can unfold. These treatments may include some bodywork, cupping, or gua sha in addition to acupuncture.

Not sure which pathway is right for you?

Most people don’t know which path they need right away, and many patients need a combination of the two types of visits over the duration of their care. I offer a brief discovery call to help you understand what to expect, ask any questions you have, and determine whether we’re a good fit to work together. On that call, we can determine the right starting pathway of care for you and I can advise you on the recommended cadence and frequency of acupuncture visits.
